Who: Any U14 Trapped/Captive Player who is not placed on a fall team and any high school player not playing for their school.

When: Two 1-hour sessions a week of training and 6 game dates throughout the season on Sunday evenings, beginning the week of August 22nd and ending the week of October 24th

Where: New Hope

Cost: $225 which includes IPSC training t-shirt

Game dates consist of: 11v11 format

Conducted by: Nick Swaim IPSC Director of Coaching and Player Development

]]>IPSC 94 Premier : VIPs of the VIThttp://www.indypremiersc.org/home/2010/11/16/ipsc-94-premier-vips-of-the-vit.html[IPSC]2010-11-16T15:20:12Z2010-11-16T15:20:12ZIPSC 94 Premier, coached by Carlos Zavaleta won the U17 Championship bracket at the Veterans Invitational Tournament in Evansville, IN on November 13-14, 2010.

The team won their pool with wins over Columbus Express 93/94 Orange Crush (3-0) and Carmel United U17 Premier (3-2). They advanced to the final with a 6-0 win over SCSA Force (Center Grove). In a hard fought final against Cutters 94 Red, the teams battled to a 0-0 draw after full time and extra time. In the shootout, the boys were flawless in winning 4-1. After Steven Abbenhaus converted the first kick, Zach Norman saved the first kick from Cutters. Mickey Paunwar and Spencer Marker converted their kicks to make the score 3-1. After Cutters missed their third kick, John Fisher scored to seal the victory.

The tournament victory was a real team effort with 8 different players contributing to the 12 team goals while the defense only yielded 2 goals. Keeper Zach Norman posted 3 shutouts in four games and made a crucial save in the shootout.

]]>A New Era at Indianapolis Premier SChttp://www.indypremiersc.org/home/2010/10/15/a-new-era-at-indianapolis-premier-sc.html[IPSC]2010-10-15T10:55:06Z2010-10-15T10:55:06ZNick Swaim, Director of Coaching and Player DevelopmentIt is with tremendous anticipation and excitement that IPSC announces Nick Swaim as our new Director of Coaching and Player Development. Nick has been involved in coaching for twelve years now at the club level, as well as a six-year stint as a high school coach at Mooresville High School. Most recently he orchestrated a great four-year run at Noblesville High School, enhancing and building on a tradition of excellence for their program. Most recently, the NHS squad achieved a state ranking as high as #2.

Nick has helped to produce many current and former college players and has learned under the mentorship of one of Indiana's great coaches, Isang Jacob. He has infectious passion for the game and is a student of it, constantly learning. This is evidenced by his possession of multiple and varied coaching licenses and credentials. His most noteworthy is currently the prestigious NSCAA Premier Diploma, and his professional growth plan includes attainment of his USSF “A” License in January of 2011.

Nick's energy and passion for the game is a valued asset and has been extremely contagious among the players he has coached. Coach Swaim is very player oriented, and is dedicated to making each player the best they can possibly be. Even more importantly, he strives to develop and nurture the character that defines great young men and women who will be prepared for life in addition to and beyond soccer.

Trapped players often times get overlooked, and we want to make sure that they have a place in the soccer world to continue, progress, develop, and enjoy the game we all love so much. If you are interested, please come on the dates October 24th and 31st (1-3:00pm Men | 3-5:00pm Women) at New hope Fields. We'd love to have you be a part of the IPSC family!
